45min drive from Bodrum Int. Airport and 10min. drive into Yalikavak town centre. Indeed for seafood lovers Bodrum is nothing short of heaven, with local fishermen providing restaurants with freshly caught fish, octopus, calamari, shellfish, shrimp and crab daily. Not just Gumuşluk, Turkbuku, Ortakent, Torba and Yalikavak are also good for sea food restaurants.
You should not leave without testing sea foods and green salad with olive oil in Bodrum restaurants. If you like alcohol we also recommend to try traditional Turkish drink RAKI. Raki is alcohol beverage which made from grapes and raisins, is strongly aromatized with lots of anise. This clear brandy has % 45 alcohols. It turns into milky white when mixed with ice or water.
